We want to inform you in a clear and precise way about the cookies we use, detailing below, which is a cookie, what it is used for, what types of cookies we use and how you can configure or disable them if you want.

What are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on a user’s computer (or smartphone), which are commonly used to collect personal data. Most website operators place cookies on the browser or hard drive of their user’s' computer. Cookies can gather information about the use of a website or enable the website to recognise the user as an existing customer when they return to the website at a later date.

What type of cookies does this website use?

According to the entity that manages it:

  • First-party cookies: they are managed by the own website manager, who provides the service required by the user.
  • Third-party cookies: they are installed by third-parties with the aim of collecting certain information from web users to carry out research into, for example, behaviour, demographics or spending habits. They are commonly used by advertisers who want to ensure that products and services are marketed towards the right target audience.

According to the period of time that they stay activated:

  • Session cookies: they help websites to recognize you and remember the information provided by you as you move from one page to another within the same website. Session cookies only retain information about your activities during your visit to the site. Once you close the browser, the session cookies are lost and the site will not recognize you the next time you return to the site.
  • Persistent cookies: they can exist for an extended period of time until expired or until they are deleted. They enable the site to recognize you on a continuous basis. Persistent cookies enable websites to remember your preferences and settings (i.e. login information, language selection, font size preference, etc) so that they can offer you a more personalized and convenient access the next time you visit.

Cookies can be divided into browsing or session guaranteeing normal navigation and use of the website (allowing, for example, a purchase or authentication for access to restricted areas).
  • Profiling cookies: they allow the user to access the service with some predefined general characteristics based on a series of criteria in the user's terminal, such as the language, the type of browser through which the user accesses the service, the regional configuration from where you access the service, etc.
